Honoured for Our International Table Tennis Achievement
Today, it was a great honor for Laxmanrao Thakre, Shital Shah, to meet our Hon'ble Member of Parliament from Vadodara, Shri Hemang Joshi Ji, thanks to the sincere efforts of TTAB Secretary Shri Kalpesh Thakkar.
We had the privilege of sharing our achievement of winning the Bronze Medal in the 50+ Mixed Doubles event at the World Masters Table Tennis Championships, held at the Gangneung Olympic Park Stadium, South Korea.
Shri Hemang Joshi Ji warmly welcomed us, congratulated us on our success, and appreciated our efforts in bringing pride to Vadodara, Gujarat, and India on the international stage.
We are truly grateful for his encouragement, support, and best wishes for our future endeavors. His motivating words inspire us to continue striving for excellence and to bring more laurels to our country. At this juncture we also reciprocate our our sincere thanks to Smt. Jayaben Thakkar, President, TTAB for appreciating our achievement and congratulated us.

Table Tennis Association of Baroda (City and District) (TTAB) was established way back in October 1977. Today it has become a young & vibrant association of 48 years. TTAB have prioritized to make Table Tennis one of the most popular games in the District, State & Country.

“A long time dream of TTAB, to have an excellent TT facility in Vadodara, has now become a reality with the setting up of a TT hall at The M. S. University Pavilion, Fatehgunj, Vadodara. This venue now boasts of state-of-the-art facilities like synthetic flooring (made in Germany), international class TT Tables (7 numbers), Table Tennis Robot for practicing and an ambience easily comparable to any international Table Tennis Venue”.
