  • Table Tennis Coach (SAI – NIS) at Orissa University of Agriculture
  • Technology (OUAT) –Bhuvneshwar (Orissa) on 30th Nov 1987
  • Took Camps and Trained OUAT Teams.

2nd Posting:

Promotion and was posted on 1st April 1988 at NSTC center Vallabh Vidhyanagar (Gujarat) where in Hostel (T.T.)

  • Prasunna Doshi (Dhangdhra) – 1988- 1992
  • Rujul Patel (Modasa) – 1988 – 1992
  • Raghuvir Rathod (Bhavnagar) – 1988 – 1992
  • Yogesh Vasan (Porbandar) – 1988 – 1992
  • Lalan Doshi (Porbandar) – 1988 – 1992

They all played in many Nationals School – State – Nationals. During 1988 and 1989 – I conducted State championship and State Inter District T.T. Championship at V.V. Nagar (Gujarat).

During this period I was appointed as a T.T. Coach by GSTTA for Sb.Jr. Nationals at Indore and the team members were as below :

3rd Posting:

Since 01-05-1995 I was posted with Sports Authority of Gujarat – Baroda. Under SAG – I took state school camps around 9 years and in these camp for all the players of Gujarat (T.T.) used to attend these camps and played Nationals and won medals namely as below :

1. During 1988 to 2005, I was attached to take T.T. Camps with Russian Coaches Four Times at Balbhavan – Baroda.

2. I took T.T. Advance coach camp with Kamlesh Mehta at Balbhavan and IPCL Baroda for Four Times.

What Players Say About Coach

I was influenced by the SAI TT Coach to play the Table Tennis game. He coach me how to be prepare as Table Tennis player. He trained me Strong Physically, Technically and Tactically. After lot of effort of Vishnu sir I have played so many Nationals – University and won Sardar Patel Award of Gujarat for Table Tennis. He always taught me to learn basic strokes and mainly important “Never ask any favors from anyone, Fight or Leave”.

I have started taking place in Gujarat State T.T. Team under his training. I have represented Gujarat State T.T. Teams in Sub Jr. Girls / Jr. Girls. I Had played so many Nationals under his training.   • Organized and coordinated ‘Inorbit Mall Baroda District Table Tennis Championships 2014’ in association with TTAB. This was the first time that shoppers in the city got a chance to enjoy a table tennis match while shopping at Inorbit Mall. This was first ever four days tournament in a mall in Vadodara city.
  • Represented M.S.University in Inter University Table Tennis Competitions during the 1995-1996, 1996-1997 and 1997-1998.
  • Attended Table Tennis coaching camp in ‘Russia organized by ‘Moscow City Sports Association’ in the year 1993.
  • Attended ‘Nirma National Ranking Table Tennis Championships in the year 2000.
  • Attended School State level ‘Table Tennis’ tournament during the year 1991,1992 & 1993
  • Attended Table Tennis coaching camp organized by ‘Sports Authority of India’ under Russain trainer Mr.Arkadi Starizholets during the year 1994

About City Table Tennis Academy

City Table Tennis Club’ offers table tennis beginner coaching and adults classes in both groups. We have batches for all levels and ages. There are options for both kids and adults to get table tennis beginner coaching as well as advanced classes." The purpose is to promote and popularize Table Tennis as a sports and a recreational activity.
